EGO: Edging God Out to Expressing God Outrageously

Most people hear the word "ego" and consider it a bad thing. But, ego is neither positive nor negative. In Latin, ego simply means "I". It is how we use our Ego that determines how close we feel to our Essence.

Ego is the foundation for free will and free choice. The purpose of the ego is to create a relationship with God. Without the ego, there is no separation and then there is no returning to God. The ego is what makes it possible to have a relationship with God through self- awareness. When we allow our ego to control our soul, we Edge God Out. However, when we use our gifts in service to love, we Express God Outrageously.
