“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet.”

I imagine feeling the way Shakespeare might have felt when he wrote those famous words when I look at this new painting.

You see, the image on the left is the SOULutions logo. The image on the right is of an original painting representing  the logo given to me by client who is an artist,  Wanda Ruzicka. I received the painting just yesterday and absolutely love it!

It’s placed  just above the couch where clients sit. I think it will remind me to always see them in their wholeness, even if they are unable to in the moment.

To many  eyes, probably most, this is simply a painting of a tree. Fair enough. Yet through my eyes, this beautiful, rugged, passionate and giving tree contains my whole life  story. I see  the pain and the triumph, what I was unable to see in my past  and  see so clearly now; it expresses the essence of  radical wholeness, which I feel so deeply passionate about.

I behold this tree  as having  great depth and great possibility. I see this tree with roots continuously deepening towards the heart of the earthy mother who gave her birth and branches reaching high towards the light while at the same time expanding out into the world, offering the gift of shade, giving comfort to all those who seek it along their path. I witness the pure expression of the spiritual principle ” As above, so as below.” I see the perfect integration of masculine and feminine, being and doing, spirit and soul…wholeness; maybe even radical wholeness.
